How come Trump is so weak in backing down from some tariffs?

Is it weakness, or is it simply insider trading on a massive scale? On the very day that Trump changed his mind and declared he would walk back tariffs on all countries except China, he literally posted about how “this is a great time to buy”. In all-caps. With an exclamation mark.
Did we see someone weakly backing down, or was this blatant, bald-faced insider trading? Oh who am I kidding… of course this was insider trading. Politicians have done this since times immemorial, just never this blatantly and on such a gigantic scale. This is really some Wolf of Wallstreet shit. Crazy.
Now if we study the markets in the short timeframe leading up to the announcement, it is very easy to see the moment where those “in the know” made their moves, aware that prices would soon rise again and this was the ideal moment:
Why do liberals think it is okay to steal votes while the rest of us obey the law(s)?
So we can use “weakness” as an explanation, sure. A more plausible explanation would be fraud. Playing with the markets, manipulating stocks and upsetting the global economy so that Trump and a few of his closest friends and allies could make gigantic profits…
